Magic John's is a pizza stand that can be found in the center of Berlin near Oranienburger Tor. They serve both New York Style pizza and Chicago Deep Dish pizza, both are excellent. The pizza unforunately comes at a premium so I see their pizza as a treat rather than street food.

However their pizza is literally out of this world, it is without a doubt the tastiest pizza you can find in Berlin. I first encountered them through a friend back when they first opened and were actually quite affordable. I went there after school with the same friend and bought a pepperoni pizza with garlic knots, I remember it tasting like heaven. Their portions are very American, so you get a lot of food at least. The sausage pizza that they recently added is excellent.

This is a very dusty photo of the first time I went to get Magic Johns, you might be able to make out garlic knots and a pepperoni pizza

There isn't much to say about the atmosphere at the restaurant. They have an open kitchen you can peer through, but there is zero seating so it's more of a to-go place. Which honestly is a shame, because sometimes you want to just sit down and enjoy a delicious pizza.
